Robert Stuart Trail 1812 — 1813

Day 41: September 21st, 2007 Pittsburgh — Munich

Today it’s going back home. Because my plane departs at half past twelve, I am not forced to get up this early as before. In time we arrive at the airport. Also the plane departs on time and so I arrive already at 1pm at Chicago. Because my connecting flight does not depart before 6pm, I still have plenty of time.

Eventually my flight departs and this time even without entering bad weather. I enjoy a quiet flight until Munich, where I arrive way before the planned arrival time. My parents pick me up again at the airport and even have already my “Weißwürste” with them. Also an October Fest beer is already in the fridge. I hand over my small presents before I lay down for a while…
