Lewis and Clark Trail Back Home 1805 — 1806

Day 3: August 14th, 2001 Pittsburgh (Waiting for Car)

Everything is now prepared. I would just need my car. As there is nothing else for me left to prepare I try the microphone for my video camera. But the results are not really good. It has a better directional effect than the built in microphone. But the noise is pretty high.

Next I programm all the GPS coordinates in my hand held GPS device. Unfortunately the memory is limited to 100 landmarks. After I have finished this I check out the brochures which are laying around. Mainly it’s now waiting — and playing the door opener for the dogs.

They are really intelligent. They never jump out on the street. You don’t have to worry if they are outside. But from time to time they want to be back inside the house. But as soon as there is some noise outside they have to check what is going on. But I have nothing else to do anyway…
