Day 40: September 21st, 2006 Pittsburgh (Mine)

Lucky me I wake up in time. Around a quarter past seven I am ready. Helen is also back on time with her friend and we drive with her Mustang and her SUV to the mine. When we arrive there the employee tells me, that she forgot to ask about the office picture. Therefore we postpone it to next year.

She takes us to our place in the mine and asks me to close the door, when we are ready. She must be back in the office. Unfortunately my car is not sitting level, so there is a slight pressure on the transmission. But to use the parking brakes now for almost one year is also not a good idea. So I have no other choice than to leave the pressure on my transmission.

I disconnect the battery and turn off the backup battery. Then I help Helen to get the cover over her Mustang. Finally we are driving back to the office and hand over our car keys. Then we drive back home. Around half past ten we arrive and Helen continues to her mother.

I repack my suitcase and listen to my CDs while doing this. Then I check the last video taping and finally take a seat in front of the television. Around half past seven Helen picks me up for dinner together with Johnna and John. This time we are a real big group and it turns out to be a very nice dinner. Around a quarter to nine I pay and we drive back home. Then I watch a bit TV before I go to bed.
